Programs placed in a Navi Customizer rewrite how the partner moves and shoots in Mega Man Battle Network 3, the White and Blue cartridges Capcom released in 2002. Style Change comes back, but the forms can be swapped instead of locking an operator into the first style earned. The WWW presses its plan through the net, while Lan's friendships keep pulling the plot back to people on the far side of the screen.
Parts that conflict can bug the Navi, so a strong setup is also a risk. Chip duels still occupy rows of panels, with a folder chosen before the fight and movement counted in squares. White and Blue differ in which chips and which encounters are easier to find, while the crisis itself stays the same shape.
Streets lead to jack-in ports, and the net beyond them is a chain of servers crossed on foot. Operators argue, pair up, and get cut off as the trouble moves from one district to the next. Lan's refusal to treat his Navi as a disposable tool sits under every virus fight.
Capcom built both cartridges around that net crisis and the friendships inside it. A style form changes favored chips and the look of the armor, so a folder that suited one form can feel clumsy after the switch.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
