History

Arthur, Lancelot, and Percival fight as a team in Knights of the Round, Capcom's arcade port from 1991. Horses carry them in some sections. It is not The King of Dragons.

The three knights differ in reach and power, and three players can take them together. On foot they clear crowds with swords. Mounted stretches change the speed and the spacing of those swings.

The other Capcom coin-op lets each player pick a fantasy calling and march against a red dragon. This Arthurian road puts the knights on horseback for part of the march. Those two ports are not interchangeable.

Mounted sections survive in the home version rather than vanishing into a sidewalk fight. Know which knight you hold before companions fill the other seats. Percival is not a recolor of Arthur.
