Extra modes and cleaner sprites remake Kirby's Adventure as Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, a HAL Laboratory and Nintendo retelling from 2002 with Meta Knight still waiting. The NES Adventure remains a separate quest.
Meta Knight and the copy abilities return with sharper art. Added modes give a reason to revisit Dream Land after the story ends.
It is a remake, so the older cartridge is not replaced. Players who want the 8-bit layouts still have that separate quest.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
