History

Capcom's second courtroom game, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Justice for All, arrived on the Game Boy Advance in Japan during 2002, still built as four cross-examinations. The Western DS release came later with those same four cases, and a Wii release carried that quartet too.

Franziska von Karma brings a whip to court, and the opening case gives Phoenix amnesia before he can remember how a cross-examination works. Pearl and Maya still pull the investigation screens between testimonies.

A circus and a kidnapped assistant sit among the four trials. Outside Japan, the DS edition is how most players first met that whip and that memory loss.
