Capcom boxed the first six robot-master campaigns, plus extra challenges, as Mega Man Legacy Collection / ロックマン クラシックス コレクション. A 3DS version followed the console release of that 2015 collection.
Mega Man still steals a boss weapon after each fortress room, from Bomb Man's bombs through the later stages of the sixth game. Challenge remixes restage those fights with extra hazards the original carts did not stack together.
The Japanese title on the same box points at the Rockman numbering of those six games. The 3DS edition arrived after the console collection, carrying the same six campaigns and the extra challenges.
