Choose a fighter, a cleric, an elf, a wizard, or a dwarf in The King of Dragons. Capcom's 1991 arcade brawler later reached home as a port, and a red dragon threatens the kingdom. Two players can march through the horde together.
The fighter stays close, the elf strikes from farther out, and the wizard and cleric lean on spells while the dwarf holds a stout line. The calling is chosen before the road starts. Side by side, two classes cover gaps one class leaves open.
Smaller monsters fill the road before the red dragon. The threat to the kingdom is that dragon, not a random late reptile. Side-view waves show the coin-op origins.
The home port keeps the class select and the cooperative brawling. Five callings are the whole roster of roles. Pick for range, then stay near a partner when the screen fills.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
