History

Blaze the Cat arrives alongside a boost dash in Sonic Rush. Dimps built the 2005 DS game with tall dual-screen stages for that handheld.

The boost meter spends rings for a burst, and the camera climbs both screens during a long vertical loop. Blaze's story runs beside Sonic's on those tall stages.

It is a Sonic built for the DS, not a port of a home-console zone list. The boost and the dual-screen height are the layout.
