Mission tasks and a wireless lobby share a handheld, and Mario Kart DS is Nintendo's kart racer that uses both screens for the race and the map. The bottom screen holds the map while a mission on Tick-Tock Clock asks for a specific character's errand.
Boss cars, coin collects, and character-specific errands fill the mission booklet between grand prix cups. Online play arrived on this pocket machine, sitting in the series after Super Circuit and before Mario Kart 7.
The 2005 cartridge also later appeared on the successor console's virtual shelf. Snaking a mini-turbo through a drift still decides a tight course such as Tick-Tock Clock.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
