History

Courtroom objections share a cartridge with crime-scene searches in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Point at a contradiction, shout the objection, and the cross-examination breaks, then the investigation half sends Phoenix back to the scene.

Capcom's DS release in 2005 is the first Ace Attorney many players outside Japan could buy. Mia Fey, Miles Edgeworth, and Maya Fey carry the early cases, and Rise from the Ashes, the fifth case, uses the touch screen for evidence the Game Boy Advance original never had.

The steel samurai and the spirit mediums are the tone. Later numbered trials are sequels; this is the first widely released DS set of cases.
