History

Rental teams and a Transfer Pak feed 3D battles in Pokemon Stadium, Nintendo's console companion to the Game Boy creatures. Gym cups climb in difficulty, and a minigame break sits between the stadium nights.

Players who brought pocket-monster teams from the handheld can fight with those imported sets. Without a cartridge in the Pak, a rental roster still lets a cup begin, though the personal team is the reason the adapter exists.

The 1999 Nintendo 64 battles are not a mainline handheld journey. There is no long walk through a region; the play is the cup, the minigames, and the link to the Game Boy teams.
