Eurocom gave Duke a time-travel plot in Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, a 1999 Nintendo 64 third-person shooter published by GT Interactive. Eras change the guns and the enemies, from a Victorian street to a future alley, while Duke's boot remains the melee option.
It is not Duke Nukem 64, the port of Duke Nukem 3D. That other cart is the first-person Build engine brought over; Zero Hour is a behind-the-back camera and a time machine.
GT Interactive's box is the third-person one. The eras, the camera, and Eurocom's stages are how this Duke stays a different cartridge.
