Plastic soldiers shrink into a kitchen in Army Men: Sarge's Heroes. 3DO took the tan-versus-green army into a third-person shooter in 1999, and Sarge walks the human world where a cereal box is cover.
Portals between the plastic battlefield and the backyard are the level transitions. A toy tank that was scenery on the green table becomes a vehicle once the scale flips.
The Green army is still the enemy. The new map is the household, which the flat plastic campaigns never entered.
