HAL and Masahiro Sakurai packed several shorter games onto Kirby Super Star (1996), including The Great Cave Offensive. A copied ability can become a helper who fights beside Kirby, which a single-player inhale never did on the earlier carts.
Spring Breeze retells a tiny Dream Land, while The Great Cave Offensive is a long treasure hunt. Milky Way Wishes hands out powers from a menu instead of from an enemy, a break in the usual inhale rule.
Japan calls the collection Kirby of the Stars Super Deluxe. The helper, the cave, and that Japanese title are the reasons this Super Nintendo anthology is not one more short Kirby stroll.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
