History

A falling moon and a three-day clock rule The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Nintendo's darker follow-up to Ocarina of Time. Link plays the Song of Time to rewind Clock Town before the moon finishes its descent.

Masks change how he moves: a Deku scrub hops, a Goron rolls, and a Zora swims the coast of Termina. Skull Kid wears the cursed mask that drives the cycle, and side quests in Clock Town only make sense if you learn the schedule.

The 2000 quest is the one with that doomed week. A 3DS version is a separate entry, so the moon, the masks, and Clock Town's bomb shop belong to this Nintendo 64 cycle.
