The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes the Hyrule of Breath of the Wild and adds a sky, a depths, and a glue. A rocket on a shield is a legal solution, which is the design speaking out loud.
Hideto Fujibayashi directed the sequel. Ultrahand, Fuse, Ascend, and Recall let the player build a bridge, stick a rocket to a shield, or rewind a falling stone. The tutorial islands float above the clouds, and the first dive back to the surface is the moment the old map becomes unfamiliar.
Zonai devices, the Light Dragon, and a story about Rauru and the imprisoning war sit under the building toys. The depths are a dark mirror of the surface, explored with brightbloom seeds, and the sky islands are sparse on purpose so the journey between them matters.
It is not a mode inside Breath of the Wild. That game remains its own page. This page is Tears of the Kingdom.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
