Myrrh trees are the quest in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Square Enix's 2003 action role-playing game built for four players linked to Game Boy Advances. Caravans of Clavats, Lilties, Yukes, and Selkies carry a chalice through miasma, and the handheld shows each player's personal menu.
It opened a spinoff line rather than continuing the numbered games. A dropped link cable means the shared screen loses the private inventory the design expected.
The cube and the handhelds are one machine in this caravan. Numbered Final Fantasy games do not ask a friend to bring a second console.
