History

Complaints about the previous offside flag shaped FIFA 2004, the EA Sports annual released in 2003 with that call switched off. Leagues of real clubs still wrap the matches.

GameCube and Game Boy Advance carry matches under the new setting. Leagues and cups still organize the season around real clubs.

Players who hated the previous annual's offside flag got a direct response. The handheld edition keeps the clubs with its own smaller match.
