History

License tests are cruel on purpose in F-Zero GX. Amusement Vision and Nintendo built extremely fast tracks, and the story mode fails a pilot for tapping a wall during a certificate run.

Sega's Amusement Vision developed the GameCube chapter with Nintendo, released in 2003, and it stayed the last mainline F-Zero for a long time. Captain Falcon's story chapters sit beside Grand Prix cups that make the SNES and Nintendo 64 games feel slow.

The AX arcade cabinet shared machines with this disc. A missed boost on a cylinder track is the mistake the license exams were written to punish.
