Konami's Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge is the Game Boy sequel to Castlevania: The Adventure. Christopher Belmont climbs four castles in this 1991 cartridge, a different plot from Simon's Quest.
A captured son and Dracula's return frame the choice of which castle to enter. The whip cracks in side view, with movement loosened a little from the stiff Adventure controls.
Simon's Quest on the NES is a day-and-night search with another Belmont. Christopher's four castles belong to this handheld sequel alone.
