History

Billy and Jimmy Lee hunt relics in Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones (1991), and Technos changed more than the wording. The arcade subtitle was The Rosetta Stone, while this home quest builds its own route.

The brothers still punch, kick, and grab weapons, but the stages and goals are not a straight dump of the cabinet. Enemy lines and pickups remain, arranged as a longer cartridge journey.

A Game Boy edition carries the Sacred Stones name as well. Both home versions stay apart from the Rosetta Stone coin-op they branched away from.
