History

Factor 5 flew Rebel missions in STAR WARS: Rogue Squadron 3D, published with LucasArts as a Nintendo 64 combat flyer. Speeder runs on a planet and starfighter sorties in space share one campaign of pilots.

The 1998 missions quote battles from the films, then grade the pilot on time, accuracy, and optional targets. An A-wing handles differently from an X-wing, and a snowspeeder's cable is the tool for a walker.

Medals send the player back to earn a better rank on a world already survived. The speeder tow cable and the starfighter hangar are the two halves of that Factor 5 campaign.
