History

Shadow Moses is the infiltration in Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid, the first Metal Gear in three dimensions. A later Game Boy Color cartridge used this same title in the West for a different story, Ghost Babel, and the PlayStation game dates to 1998.

Solid Snake calls Campbell, Meryl, and Otacon on a codec while a radar and a cardboard box shape the sneak. Boss fights break the usual gunfight, including a duel that asks the player to change how the console is used.

Ghost Babel is a separate handheld mission that borrowed the Western title. Kojima's Shadow Moses disc is the three-dimensional game the name first identified.
