Lara Croft's search for her mother continues in Tomb Raider: Underworld, the 2008 continuation of the Legend-era story from Crystal Dynamics. Norse ruins and underwater halls replace the mansion tutorial of the older games, and Thor's hammer is part of the myth she is chasing.
The motion-console version is a reduced adaptation of that campaign, with a smaller scope than the main release. The dual-screen game is a separate side story, not a tiny copy of the same tombs.
Legend-era Lara, the one who already reopened her father's work, is who you play on the big-screen cut. The handheld tale should be read as its own excursion.

No wider family is grouped for this title beyond the series list.
