Rotating a cluster of gems replaces a swap in PopCap's Bejeweled Twist. The 2008 match-three spinoff of Bejeweled turns the board instead of exchanging two jewels.
A twist lines up three gems, and the chain can start from a rotation the original swap game never asked for. Special gems still explode, but the hand motion is the turn.
It is a spinoff, so the classic swap mode is the parent game. Twist is the rotation puzzle in that family.
