Central Park, split into episodes, replaces the old mansion in Alone in the Dark (2008), Eden Games' reboot. Edward Carnby walks that park with fire as a tool and the case broken into chapters.
The 1992 original had defined the fixed-camera mansion crawl. This reboot lets Carnby combine objects, burn a fissure, and watch the plot arrive in episodes rather than as one continuous tape.
Carnby is still the investigator's name. The park, the flames, and the episode breaks are what Eden changed when it started the series over.
