History

Infinity's NES action game The Battle of Olympus, published by Broderbund, sends a Greek hero through side-view fights often set beside Zelda II. A Game Boy port later appeared in Europe, and the NES release dates to 1988.

Orpheus seeks Helene, and the gods hand him tools that open new stretches of the mythic map. A sword swipe and a life bar are the combat people compare with Zelda II's side view.

The European Game Boy port retells that same walk. Broderbund's NES edition is the one Infinity built first.
