Hudson Soft's PC Engine mascot, also called PC Genjin, debuts in Bonk's Adventure (1989), and his oversized head is the weapon. A Game Boy port came after the TurboGrafx-16 original.
A headbutt stuns a dinosaur, and a slab of meat powers that bonk further. The smiling caveman was Hudson's console hero, charging through prehistoric stages on the PC Engine.
TurboGrafx-16 players met the headbutt first. The Game Boy cartridge is a later, smaller reprint of that debut.
