History

Quest's Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, directed by Yasumi Matsuno, fights on a grid. This Super Famicom tactical game from 1995 uses turns, a different clock from the real-time marches of Ogre Battle.

Denam's choices on Valeria shift who stays loyal, and a unit's facing changes who can be struck. Archers, knights, and wizards act in a strict order across those tiles.

The subtitle belongs to Matsuno's campaign of hard choices. Players who knew only Ogre Battle's flowing battlefield meet a turn-based war on this cartridge.
