History

Cyborg fists and satellite drones define Shatterhand, the NES brawler American players got through Jaleco. In Japan the same game licenses the tokusatsu series Tokkyuu Shirei Solbrain, a name the American box does not use.

Natsume's side-view punches can assemble little robot allies from collected parts. The cyborg hero's arms are the weapon, and the Japanese license explains the armored look.

Jaleco's American release arrived in 1991, while the Solbrain connection stayed a Japanese identity. Cyborg brawling is what both boxes actually play.
