Codemasters raced Galoob's tiny cars across household clutter in Micro Machines (Old). A school desk, a pool table, and breakfast leftovers each count as a full circuit.
The 1991 racer reached the NES as an unlicensed Camerica cart. Falling off a table edge is the usual crash, because the camera stays tight on toy-sized vehicles.
Later Micro Machines games add features this first tabletop set does not have. The Camerica cartridge is the one built from those desks, baize, and leftover meals.
