History

Egg folklore and the Oliver twins' hero fill Fantastic Dizzy, Codemasters' puzzle adventure in the Dizzy line. The yolkfolk's missing friends and an overworld of small puzzles are the computer game's shape.

Codemasters released that adventure in 1991, and it did not start as a Nintendo product. The egg hero already had a line of games on other machines before Camerica's cart.

Camerica later sold an unlicensed NES version. The Oliver twins' Dizzy and the puzzle overworld are the source, and Camerica's cart is an unlicensed carrier rather than the birthplace.
