Peter Liepa's cave puzzle Boulder Dash (1984) sends you digging for diamonds while loose boulders tumble. First Star's original spawned a long line of home ports, Game Boy among them.
A rock balanced over a dug-out space will fall, and a diamond collected under it can trap the digger. Butterflies and amoebas in some caves add creatures that change the soil.
The cave-in logic is Liepa's puzzle. Handheld and computer ports keep that diamond hunt and those falling stones.
