Rattle and Roll swallow Nibbley Pibbles until they weigh enough to ring a bell in Rare's Snake Rattle 'n' Roll. The view is isometric, and each snake grows fatter as the nibbles go down.
A bell on a scale blocks the exit until a body is heavy enough to depress it. Tongue strikes collect the pibbles, and enemies on the diamond grid can knock a snake off a ledge.
Rare also produced a Game Boy version in that same 1991 season. The NES original is the isometric pair, the pibbles, and the weight-activated bell.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
