History

Knife rushes across a military base define Rush'n Attack (1985), the Western name for Konami's arcade game Green Beret. Soldiers advance on foot, and the knife is the default weapon when a dropped gun runs dry.

The coin-op sends the commando through gates, trucks, and missile yards. A grenade or a rocket, when one is found, is a brief upgrade rather than a new character.

An NES port followed that cabinet and kept the on-foot assault. Green Beret is the Japanese arcade name, and the Western title is the one printed on this cartridge.
