History

Hoodlum cans screw onto Rayman's hands in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, Ubisoft's 2003 trip through the Glade of Dreams. He can lock onto several targets at once, and Globox's belly is both a joke and a plot problem Andre the hoodlum caused.

Each can changes the fist: a rocket, a shock, a metal claw. The Glade's forests and discos are the stages, and the lock-on is how a crowd of hoodlums is cleared without a free-aim gun.

The GameCube disc is that lock-on adventure. Later side-scrolling Rayman games dropped the cans; here the cans are the combat.
