Atari Games' Primal Rage pits stop-motion dinosaurs and giant apes against one another. This arcade fighter from 1995 carried that prehistoric roster to home ports, the Super Nintendo one included.
Sauron, Blizzard, Chaos, and Armadon each bring a gruesome finishing move, and a tiny worshipper can be eaten. The cabinet's clay animation is what the cartridge sprites are trying to suggest.
A Game Boy edition shrinks those beasts into a smaller duel. The coin-op, with its stop-motion models, is the version the roster was built for.
