History

Konami's tower climb reached color handhelds as Azure Dreams GB, a 1999 companion to the PlayStation release where random floors and egg hatching remain the loop. The Monster Tower forgets its layout when you leave.

A failed run can still leave a hatched ally for the next climb. The disc has the fuller town, while this cartridge keeps the eggs and the shifting floors in a smaller frame.

It is a handheld cousin, not a replacement for the PlayStation tower. Hatching and climbing are the reasons to return.
