History

Codemasters' Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament races toy cars across kitchen tables and workbenches. The Genesis J-Cart lets four people play this 1994 sequel without an extra adapter, and the Super Nintendo version is a separate port.

A breakfast table, a garden hose, and a school desk become circuits seen from so high the cars look like toys. A shove off the table's edge eliminates a racer as surely as a crash on a normal track.

The J-Cart's extra sockets are a Genesis feature. Codemasters' Super Nintendo port of the sequel uses that machine's own pads for the miniature race.
