History

Camping chases and a cover shooter replace class periods in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, a sharp break from the earlier Potter adventures. EA turned the seventh film into that 2010 game, and a DS version shipped with it.

Spells snap to targets from behind crates during the Ministry and the road scenes, instead of a Hogwarts hub full of classes. The break is the camera and the gun-like aim, not another year of Quidditch.

The DS version sits in that same break from the school games. Part 1 stops with the film's first-half events rather than the battle at the castle.
