Meeples score cities, roads, and fields in Carcassonne. The tile-laying board game came to DS in 2010, scoring those features the way the tabletop original does.
Each drawn tile must touch a matching edge, and a meeple claims a city, a road, or a field until that feature closes. Farmers, thieves, and knights are the same wooden roles the table uses, just tapped on a screen.
Cloisters and incomplete roads still punish a greedy placement. The DS edition follows the tabletop scoring rather than inventing a video-only board.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
