One Goof must lift the other onto a ledge a single body cannot reach, and a hook fires only while the partner stands on the switch. The pace follows a room-by-room rescue, closer to a shared brainteaser than to Capcom's punch-heavy cartoon brawlers.
Max's fishing rod and Goofy's grappling hook divide the labor inside each house. Clearing a stage means both characters reach the door with the crates already shoved, not with a boss meter emptied.
