Selphia wakes a royal amnesiac in Rune Factory 4, and the farmer you guide is either a prince or a princess who remembers neither crown. Neverland built the blend of fields, fights, and courtship. XSEED and Marvelous brought that life west in 2013.
Orders arrive from Ventuswill, the dragon who watches the capital. Between her commands you till soil, battle monsters past the town edge, and grow close enough to neighbors to marry them. A crop, a festival, or a villager's request can outweigh the next dungeon.
Earlier entries on the DS belong to other towns and other memories. Selphia, the lost title, and Ventuswill's requests frame the Nintendo 3DS entry. Companions raised on the farm can follow you into a fight, linking the barn to the battlefield.
Chores never fully step aside for the royal mystery. Townsfolk address the stranger as royalty while the streets are still unfamiliar. Neverland's harvest-and-hunt calendar, carried west by XSEED and Marvelous, is how Selphia is lived.
