Cell blocks replace an open city in Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, Armature Studio's 2013 side-view Metroidvania on Nintendo 3DS and Vita. Batman works through Blackgate prison after the console Arkham Origins night, crossing paths with Bronze Tiger and Catwoman.
Detective vision, a grapnel, and gadget gates open new wings of the same complex. Combat keeps the freeflow punches, scaled down to corridors and locked doors.
The story sits between the console Arkham games as a handheld side path. The map is a prison cross-section, not another Gotham skyline.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
The series list above is the whole family set in this catalog.
