Hex fleets replace the square gem board in Puzzle Quest: Galactrix. Infinite Interactive moved the Puzzle Quest formula onto that hex grid for the 2009 sci-fi spinoff, including a DS release.
Ships, starbases, and a match on six-sided cells carry the combat instead of a medieval dungeon. It is a spinoff, so the wizard of the first game is not the captain here.
The DS release belongs to that hex-grid spinoff. Science-fiction fittings are the change, while matching to power an action stays the turn.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
