Dragon tiles and bamboo suits clear in pairs from a stacked layout in Mahjong. The 2009 DS solitaire take on the table game removes those free pairs.
A tile must be open on the left or the right, and matching the dragon or the season removes only that couple. It is one player's puzzle, not a four-player reach for a winning hand.
A free dragon leaves only when its match is also free. The DS session is that stacked solitaire, distinct from later deluxe sequels on other hardware.
