History

EA kept the new Infinity Engine on high-definition hardware, and Madden NFL 13 on the motion console stayed with the older feature set. Franchise weekends still schedule the real clubs even without the newer physics engine.

Playcalling, franchise weeks, and Sunday exhibitions remain the loop. The remote handles snaps and throws without the physics rewrite that engine was built to show elsewhere.

The 2012 split left two products under one season's roster. National Football League clubs and that season's rules are what the editions still share.
