Reflections split a New York crime story between 1978 and a later decade, and Driver: Parallel Lines is that two-era driving tale. The skyline and the car radio are the clues that TK's revenge has jumped decades.
TK's undercover revenge changes the skyline, the cars, and the soundtrack when the story jumps forward. Missions still mix getaways with on-foot shooting, but the city itself is the clue that time has moved.
The original release is 2006, and a motion-console port followed. The Hudson-side missions and the era swap remain the reason to play, not a new borough invented for the remote.
