Raven Software's hero-swapping brawler Marvel Ultimate Alliance is Activision's team fighter from 2006, built so you can change heroes inside one scrap. Wii has that console game, and Game Boy Advance has a smaller separate one on the same Marvel name.
You pause mid-fight, change from a bruiser to a flyer, and chain their specials against one mob. Comic villains supply the bosses while several teams share a single roster you can rebuild between missions.
The Wii disc is the home game with that swapping. The handheld cartridge uses a much smaller mission set, so the two boxes are not interchangeable copies of one brawl.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
None in this catalog yet.
No wider family is grouped for this title beyond the series list.
