Thrown crates and enemies become weapons in Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Capcom's NES platformer of the Disney Afternoon series. Chip and Dale pick up almost anything, including a foe, and throw it, which is the verb that replaces a simple stomp.
Fat Cat's crime spree is the plot. Gadget, Monterey Jack, and Zipper belong to the show, and the stages turn those characters' world into throwable clutter.
Capcom released the cart in 1990, and the throw, more than a mascot walk, is why it is remembered. A crate or a foe in Dale's hands solves the room.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
