Dinosaur mounts carry Master Higgins across Adventure Island III (1992), Hudson's third Western island cart. A ridden dinosaur changes the attack and the jump, and the lineage still runs back to the Wonder Boy-derived original.
Hudson continued Higgins's crossing with those mounts and a new set of island hazards. The third Western entry is not a renumbering of the Japanese spokesman game that shares none of this plot.
The skateboard-and-axe ancestor remains the root. Higgins and the dinosaurs are the third Western chapter of that line.
